As part of an effort to make the Sugar Factory and arts complex, a new piano furnished by Daynes Music Company was obtained through collaborative efforts and partnerships between the band, orchestra, chorale, theater, youth theatre, art gallery and literary group of West Jordan. This effort brought together the local arts elements to successfully achieve a common goal which will enrich the community by this added resource. |

By doing so, funding was centralized and overseen, providing more clout, and resulted in the city council approving a large budget increase to further support the arts efforts in the community. The current project is to build a community center which houses all the arts, as well as providing a gathering place for major events. |
